Sarah Davol ate lobster at the Connecticut shore this summer where she performed Mozart's Quintet for Winds and Piano on classical oboe at the Connecticut Early Music Festival. This October she looks forward to New York City's first Early Music Festival, when she will play with the American Classical Orchestra and Ensemble for Early Music. Later she will join Ama Deus at Philadelphiea's Kimmel Center and REBEL at Trinity Church in New York. She teaches Baroque oboe at Sarah Lawrence College and likes exploring vegetarian cuisines of different cultures. (top of page)
Dr. Sara Funkhouser enjoyed teaching at the Texas Toot this summer in Austin and is now revving up for the 2004-5 season when she will be performing with the Texas Camerata, the Dallas Bach Society, Texas Bach Choir and the Denton Bach Society. She teaches recorder and Baroque oboe at the University of North Texas and swings an impressive nine iron. (top of page)
Sarah Weiner starts off her 2004-5 season having just returned from performing with l'Orchestra Classica de Santa Croce in Batignano, Italy. She will be performing with the Bach Sinfonia, the Maryland Early Music Festival, the Londontowne Symphony and working at the Folger Shakespeare Library. She coaches Baroque oboe and early woodwinds at the University of Virginia. In the hope of returning to Italy, she will practice her Italian and fine-tune her taste for Tuscan wines. (top of page)
